Privacy Notice
Who we are
Bougsk is run by Virevia Industries (proprietor Vishwas Pandey), Kh No. 30/16, Uttarakhand Enclave, Gali Number 25, Burari, New Delhi 110084, Delhi. GSTIN 07GOBPP2466A1Z4. We decide why and how your personal data is used, so we are responsible for it.
What we collect and why
Your email address and password (the password is stored only in scrambled form by our sign-in provider, we cannot read it). If you use Google sign-in, we receive your name and email from Google.
Why: To create and secure your account and let you sign in.
Name, phone number, delivery address, and billing address if different, entered at checkout.
Why: To deliver your order, contact you about it, and issue your invoice.
Your company's GSTIN, only if you choose to give it.
Why: To print it on your GST invoice so you can claim input tax credit.
Gift recipient's name and gift message, only if you mark an order as a gift.
Why: To address and pack the gift.
What you bought, the amount, the order and invoice numbers, and the payment reference from Razorpay. Your card, UPI or bank details are typed into Razorpay's payment window and never reach our servers.
Why: To fulfil your order, keep tax records, and handle refunds.
A record of each email we send you, including its text.
Why: To show you what we told you about an order and to fix delivery problems.
Your IP address, held briefly in a counter with no other detail.
Why: To stop automated abuse such as password guessing and order-lookup attacks.
A review, rating or photo, only if you submit one.
Why: To show it on the product page after we approve it.
We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not currently run analytics or tracking cookies. If that changes we will update this notice and ask you first.
Who else handles it
Only the services needed to run the store, each for its own task: Supabase (database and sign-in), Cloudflare (serving the website), Razorpay (payments and refunds), Resend (sending our emails), Google (if you choose Google sign-in), and the courier that delivers your parcel, which receives your name, phone number and address. Some of these companies store data outside India.
How long we keep it
Account details stay until you delete your account. Records of paid orders and their GST invoices are kept for as long as Indian tax law requires us to keep them, even after you delete your account. When you delete your account we remove your sign-in, any unpaid orders, your newsletter entry and the stored copies of emails we sent you, we clear gift messages and notes from your paid orders, and the remaining order records are no longer linked to an account.
Your choices
- Delete your account: sign in, open Your account and choose Delete my account. If an order is still on its way, you can delete once it has arrived.
- Stop our emails: every email we send has an Unsubscribe link at the bottom. Emails about a refund are still sent, because they concern your money.
- See or correct your data, or ask us anything: write to orderatbougsk@gmail.com from the email on your account and we will help.
- Name someone to act for you if you cannot, for example in case of death or incapacity, by writing to the same address.
Complaints
If something is wrong, write to our grievance contact first: Vishwas Pandey, orderatbougsk@gmail.com. We will reply as quickly as we can and within the time the law allows. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
Our store is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If we change this notice we will update the date at the top. For material changes we will also tell account holders by email.
